Insects
Camp Perry is home to a number of varities of ants - for those not specifically interested they might be divided into the big ones and the little ones.
There are plenty of both. Do not stand on an ant nest. Do not pitch your tent on one either.

Mosquitos of several species are in evidance.
Dragon flies are also in evidance, especially after a major outbreak of mosquitos.


Spiders
There are some large tarantulas which live at camp.
Several varieties of orb weavers which spin large webs also live in camp.


Scorpions
The scorpions that live at camp may look nasty, and can give a hurtful sting,
but they are not the deadly variety (unless you are allergic to them.)

Crabs
Blue crabs live in the Arroyo Colorado.
