Camp Perry, Texas
Camping

The 12 campsites are open areas separated by thorny brush, and interconnected by smaller trails.

Camping is on the ground. There are no platforms on which to pitch tents.

Each campsite has its own fire ring. Do check for burn/no burn conditions at the Office before planning any fires.

Most campsites have a water spigot. The water is potable and is provided from the Rio Hondo municipal water supply.

Access to the Arroyo Colorado (down a steep thorny brush covered bank) is strictly off limits to all. The official water front is just east of the Lodge which is connected to the kitchen and Mess Hall.

There are complete flush toilet latrines at either end of the camp. These also have showers.
Between most of the camps there are pit toilets. These are provided for the Scouts and are generally off-limits to adult scouters.
Adult showers and toilets are centrally located, about 80 feet north of the Office.
